PROGRAM FUNDING
Heartland Workforce Investment Board, Inc., d/b/a CareerSource Heartland
(CSH) has entered into two contracts with South Florida State College
(SFSC), totaling $650,000, to support In and Out-of-School Youth programs,
which are fully supported by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S
Department of Health and Human Services as part of awards totaling
$1,070,644.
CSH is a direct service provider for the following programs, which are fully
supported by the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and/or the Florida
Department of Economic Opportunity, as part of awards totaling $4,462,062.
- The WIOA Adult Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor
as part of awards totaling $1,066,796. - The WIOA Dislocated Worker Program is supported by the U.S.
Department of Labor as part of awards totaling $583,909. - The WIOA Youth Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor
as part of awards totaling $1,070,644. - The Welfare Transition Program is supported by the U.S Department of
Health and Human Services as part of awards totaling $996,396. - The Department of Children and Families Supplemental Nutrition
Assistance Program (SNAP) is supported by the U.S Department of
Agriculture as part of awards totaling $125,571. - The Wagner-Peyser Program is supported by the U.S. Department of
Labor as part of an award totaling $209,868. - The Local Veteran Employment Representative Program is supported by
the U.S. Department of Labor for Veteran’s employment and training as
part of an award totaling $6,787. - Other discretionary funding as supported by the U.S. Department of Labor
are part of awards totaling $402,092.
