Control machinery to open and close canal locks. Direct movements of vessels in locks or bridge areas,
using signals and telecommunication equipment. Observe position and progress of vessels to ensure
best use of lock spaces or bridge opening spaces. Record names, types, and destinations of vessels
passing through bridge openings or locks. Observe approaching vessels to determine size and speed
and listen for whistle signals indicating desire to pass. Position located in Okeechobee County.

Prepares food and/or baked goods as directed by the Food Service Manager. Strictly follows recipes and
production planning sheets. Obtains, weighs, and measures products from storage areas in a timely
manner. Packages and stores food products in accordance with food safety standards and advises
manager of amounts to be worked into future menus. Monitors serving line to ensure enough food is
available for service and replaces depleted food with fresh products. Operates point of sale system and
performs cash handling duties. Position located in Highlands County.

Performs clerical duties including but not limited to, organization of all Finance Department files;
determining the retention or destruction time frame of said files. Incumbent will manage daily deposits and
revenue data entry; assisting all areas of the Finance Department as instructed. Orders all office supplies
for the Finance and Utility Billing Departments. Position located in DeSoto County.

Operates CNC Lathe and Vertical Mill (if needed) to fabricate parts by performing the following duties.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and setup sheets to machine materials. Determine machine
operations, finished workpiece dimensions. Setup and operate CNC Turning Centers & Vertical Machining
Centers, prove out first part and inspect completed parts. Stack and load finished items. Setup future jobs
while machines are operating. Position located in Hardee County.
