On the Third Friday of every month, the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), Labor Market Statistics Department releases new data regarding Florida’s nonagricultural employment and unemployment statistics. The report provides comparisons by county, Florida and the U.S. as well as a recap of any initiatives affecting the labor market. A Florida map showing the average unemployment for each regional workforce board is updated from the prior month. This information is posted monthly as new statistics are released. More detailed statistics are available from DEO for Labor Market Info (LMI) and Florida Research and Economic Information Database Application (FREIDA) using the following web links:
