CareerSource Heartland Public Notices
Alert: Possible Scam
CareerSource Heartland has received reports of calls to individuals stating it is the State of Florida calling concerning a criminal matter. The recipient of the call is being advised to call the local workforce office and provide a 4-digit number (possibly personally identifiable information). The caller provides phone numbers that are not the numbers of the local workforce offices.
This appears to be a scam. Local law enforcement is advising people who receive these calls to block the caller and take no further action.
