The Grounds Keeper performs manual work involving a variety of housekeeping tasks as assigned.
Scrubs, mops, waxes, and polishes floors, dusts and polishes furniture; and washes windows, woodwork,
toilets, washrooms, and fixtures. Changes trash and garbage cans and cleans tables and washes floors.
Performs unskilled maintenance and grounds work. Moves office and institutional furniture and equipment
from place to place as directed. Runs errands and delivers and picks up supplies, etc. Lawn care,
landscaping, irrigation, weed eating, edging, etc. Knowledge of basic lawn equipment. Position located in

appropriately with emphasis on outstanding guest service. Processes same day reservations, future
reservations, and cancellations. Registers arriving guests and assign rooms. In the absence of bell person
or housekeeping, handles minor maintenance tasks. Delivers amenities to guests’ rooms. Position located

Position assists with the daily operations of the Recreation Complex, including the pool facility — including
assisting customers with memberships, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to
District residents and guests. Helps to maintain a clean and orderly workspace and assists with custodial
