Performs semi-skilled work in servicing automotive equipment and helping mechanics in a sub-technical
manner. Services and lubricates automobiles, trucks, tractors, mowers and other equipment. Services
batteries; changes and repairs tires; checks and cleans radiators and generators; and replaces oil filters.
Assists mechanics in their work and performs the more routine repairs. Answer calls for road service;
change flat tires; and change dead batteries and make minor repairs. Position located in Hardee County.
Tipper Operator-Landfill—JO#12503175
Operates the Landfill Tipper and performs other utility duties as required. Verifies that the Landfill Tipper
is in working order, e.g., tooling, safety mechanisms. Performs daily maintenance, cleaning activities, and
other utility duties as required. Position located in Okeechobee County.
Parts Department—JO#12503484
Receives and fill orders for parts. Fill customer orders from stock, and places orders when requested items
are out of stock. Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or
computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices. Helping customers.
Answering telephone. Responsible for parts department cleanliness. Position located in Highlands County.
